What do I need for my Agent visit?

Proof of ID and address

Your Agent will ask to see your ID and proof of address;

  • Current Photo card Driving Licence (proof of ID only)
  • Current signed passport (example of ID only)
  • Utility bill from within the last 6 months (example of address only)
  • You can view the full list here.

Proof of income

Your Agent will also need to see income documentation as part of the enhanced affordability assessment and application process.

  • Payslip; in some cases 3 consecutive payslips may be required
  • evidence of welfare payments

Don’t forget to have legible photocopies of your ID and income documents for your Agent to take away with them. They will not be able to approve the loan without this.

Recommend a friend

At Provident, we believe something good is worth sharing. That’s why we’re offering customers like you €30 cash every time you recommend a friend or family member to our helpful services. 

How do I recommend a friend?

If your friends or family are interested in getting a loan and have consented to you giving us their details, you can speak to your Agent and get the Recommend a Friend Leaflet. Once you have the leaflet, fill in the relevant boxes with your details, your friend’s details (if you have their consent) and give the leaflet back to your Agent. Your Agent will then contact your friend or family member and take them through the loan application process. Please note to qualify for the €30 your friends or family must not already be a customer of Provident or have paid off a loan with us in the last 6 months, and must take out a loan of €100 or more. 

Terms and conditions

  • Whoever you recommend must consent for you to pass their details onto us.
  • To qualify for the €30 reward you must be a current Provident customer and your friend must not be a current customer of Provident and they must be accepted and received a loan. 
  • Neither you nor the friend you recommend can be an Agent, a family member of an Agent or living at the same address. 
  • You cannot use social media to find people to recommend.
  • Friends must not be a current customer or have paid off their loan less than 6 months ago.
